Sadie Ann – Creative Model

Headshot with orange gel background
Girl on Fire

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you. Sadie Ann!

In honour of a friend; model; actress and dancer. Sadie Ann is one the most hardworking; dedicated and talented models that I have had the privilege of working with. We’ve had many photo shoots together; be it for fun; to bring our ideas to life or for my wife’s bridal business and creative photo shoots.

Sadie Ann was the first professional model I ever booked; I was told by friends that in order to get some great shots that either a professional model or good direction was needed. Now that I’ve had a chance to work with models with all kinds of backgrounds I understand how true this is. If you’re reading this and you’re thinking of trying out in the modelling industry; then believe me. It’s not as easy as it looks and Sadie Ann will tell you all about that. There’s a heap of poses to consider along with the strength; flexibility and agility needed to pull them off without making them (or the images) look awful. Sadie Ann has this down; and after being in the industry for 7+ years she’ll tell you it doesn’t get easier either.

This young woman has been published in many a magazine; from Creative Portrait – dedicated to raising money for Muscular Dystrophy. To Vogue Italia and all through hard work and finding the perfectly matched photographers to work with. I’ll be posting more about these people and especially about CP Mag; it’s cause and the woman who runs it all but that’s for another day. For now we stick with the lovely Sadie Ann; labelling herself as Creative Model, I couldn’t think of a better description for her. She’s adapted to an ever expanding market; competing with our typical Essex dolls you’re likely to find posting the obvious selfie on Instagram. She’s taken what she’s learned; taken in what many photographers are looking for and placed herself smack bang in the middle of all of us creatives with glamourous posture. She’s as versatile as they come as you may see through the images I’ve provided below. Attacking the moody feel of the lighting in one then switching it up to cutesy and playful in another; and believe it or not. This is in the same shoot!

She needs no editing! Which is one thing that many cannot say; and for a mere beginner; as I was when I first worked with her. This was a blessing to say the least. But it’s not just her professionalism and willing to do what it takes to ‘get the shot’ that I love so much about this model. It’s her personality and grace that defines her; between shoots she’s as bubbly as Boleyn Ground. Belting out songs and generally cheering everyone up. Given the space I’m sure she’ll even give a little dance around. She definitely reins true to her title when she’s on a creative shoot; and even when not she’ll provide ideas that just seem to work. It’s no doubt this girl is great at what she does and as I can only say from a photographer’s point of view; I cannot comment on her other paths. The one thing I can say is that her musical talent is most certainly on point; so make sure you check out her page and look for her music. Written; composed and produced all by her!
